POSITION TITLE
Glazier Apprentice

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure a safe and tidy work area.
• Carry tools to and from work sites.
• Assist with cutting glass, products to size.
• Take accurate measurements using an imperial tape measure.
• Assist in the installation of glass, screens, windows, thermal units, patio doors and steel doors with attention to details.
• Assist in the installation of hardware for windows and doors.
• Perform installation of weather-stripping and caulking on windows.
• Uphold Hi-Lon's company rules and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
• Effective time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and results oriented.
• Team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
• A valid driver’s license.
• An acceptable driver’s abstract.
• An acceptable criminal records check.
• Able to do heavy lifting (50lbs).

POSITION TITLE
Fabricator

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Fabricate materials for production. Examples include screen doors, window screens, and window sashes.
• Cut material for orders. Glass, metal, vinyl, wood, and stops are just a few examples.
• Utilize both manual and power tools. Such as a table saw and chop saw.
• Use a tape measure to accurately measure the materials.
• Install hardware onto screens, windows, and doors.
• Carry out receiving and shipping tasks. Such as receiving inventory, sorting it, and labelling it.
• Pickup orders and supplies, from our vendors.
• Other warehouse duties, as required.

REQUIREMENTS
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and accept instruction.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Punctual and have reliable attendance.
• Valid "G" Driver's license with an acceptable driver's abstract.
